From great nature trails, to stopping through some historic places, Delaware has a lot to see and plenty to enjoy. Down below we'll be going through some of the top byways in the state, and we hope you'll let us be a part of your next drive by either getting service done before your trip, or checking out our inventory! Let's get the show on the road!

Brandywine Valley
National Scenic Byway:The first scenic drive we're looking at is Brandywine Valley and will have you traveling on Route 52 and 100. You will not only get to witness how beautiful nature is, but you'll be close to the Museum of Natural History, the Delaware Art Museum, and the Delaware History Museum. There are plenty of gardens and mansions nearby as well, including Winterthur, Gibraltar, and Goodstay. This is just the beginning of the kinds of activities you can expect on this drive.

Lewes Byway:
Next up is Lewes Byway, which is otherwise known as "Gateway to the Nation". You'll be driving along the Delaware Bay, and even by Cape Henlopen State Park. The park itself is a wonder to behold, and perfect for a great summer afternoon picnic. Another place we recommend stopping at is Lightship Overfalls. So get out there, pack up your things, and experience the beauty of the Delaware Bay.

Nanticoke Heritage Byway:
Another great drive to take is about 35 miles along, and it starts at US 13 and ends at Trap Pond State Park. Along the way you'll be able to rake the Woodland Ferry and cross the Nanticoke River. This is a nice short drive that is perfect for an afternoon away from the rest of the troubles in your life so you can focus on the open road and the beauty that surrounds you.

Red Clay Valley Scenic Byway:
The last place we're checking out is Red Clay Valley. This trip takes places across 27 miles and 28 unique roads. You'll be able to drive over the Ashland Covered Bridge, and by the Auburn Heights Preserve. One of the best places along this scene drive is the Mt. Cuba Center, which is a perfect pit stop, no matter the time of year.
